Weekend Busy with Motorcycle Accidents

On Friday evening around 10:30 Sta 26 and Sta 6 were alerted for a motorcycle accident on Rhodesdale-Eldorado Rd involving 2 patients with one laying in the road way. Chief 26-1 (JB Murphy) arrived and confirmed report and established command. Engine 6-2 shut the road way down in Rhodesdale. Rescue Engine 26 arrived a provided lights at the scene. Engine Tanker 26 arrived and handled the LZ. The motorcycle was unable to avoid a deer and the driver had to lay the bike down. The driver refused treatment. However his passenger was transported to shock trauma by trooper 6.

Early Sunday morning around 1am Sta 26 was dispatched for a accident involving a motorcycle. A single occupant on a motorcycle failed to make a turn on Puckum rd and hit a few trees. Rescue-Engine 26 arrived. Chief 26-2 (Jason Barnes) had command. The driver was transported to Seaford by Paramedic 200.
