| On Thursday at 11:45 am members from Sta 26 were dispatched to Hurlock grain mill to assist with fire in the elevator shaft. Engine tanker 26, Tanker 26-2,Taker 26-1 and command 26 responded with a total of 7. Members assisted with water supply operations. Multiple companies came to assist from Caroline ,Sussex ,Delaware,Talbot and Wicomico county. Special request was made for Selbyville T-Rex truck due to height of the fire. After water was applied by the tower operations and the elevator was cooled down 2 firefighters made the climb to the top to remove inspection panels and flowed the 1” 1/2 hand line down the elevator shaft. |
