Eldorado – Brookview VFD covers approximately 45 square miles of a mostly rural first due including 4 small towns, 3 state highways, 2 summer camps and numerous farms and agriculture operations. The department serves a broad range of demographics with a population of approximately 500.

We operate out of 2 buildings, stations 26 and 27 located just 1/10 of a mile apart.  Station 26 is the main station located at the corner of Routes 313 and 14 and is a 8 bay block building housing Engines 26 and 26-2, Tanker 26, Rescue 26, Brush 26, Utility 26, and ALS 26.  We currently provide a place for Dorchester County EMS to house and operate Paramedic 200 which covers the first due area and many of our mutual aid territories.  Our banquet hall and kitchen are also part of the main station and are used for fundraisers and also available for rent.  Station 27 is a pole type building acquired by the department a few years ago to house the boat, gator, 2 antiques and surplus equipment.  

EBVFD has 70 members on the books with approximately 25 being active firefighters, the remainder of the roster is made up of lifetime and social members who help with fundraising and support functions.
