The Eldorado-Brookview Volunteer Fire Department is pleased to place in service a 2011 Pierce Saber Pumper Tanker. Designated as Rescue-Engine 26-1, our new apparatus carries 1800 gallons of water and is complemented with a Husky foam system. This engine is equipped with a variety of suppression equipment, extrication tools, and a generator; carrying 900 feet of 5 inch LDH supply, 300 feet of 3 inch supply, 250 foot Blitz line, and three 200 foot attack lines. Rescue Engine 26-1 meets all state and county standards for engine and rescue companies and can serve in a tanker capacity as well.

It’s that time of year again folks. Eldorado-Brookview VFD’s annual Longaberger Basket and 31 Bags Bingo. This years event will be held Sunday November 6 at the firehouse, doors open at 12:30pm with Bingo starting at 2:00pm. Tickets are $20.00 and include bingo sheets, one raffle ticket, and a door prize. Refreshments will also be available for sale. For more information call Kim at 410-829-7842.

On Saturday March 5, 2011 Dorchester alerted Station 26 and Wico 14 for Box 26-2 for a reported structure fire. Chief 26-3 aol to find a 12×10 shed fully involved with a direct exposure with possible extension into a dwelling and called for a 2nd alarm. E67 (Easton on standby at 14) arrived first and made quick knock on the structure as E26 and ET1402 arrived and were assigned to check the dwelling for extension. No extension was found only extensive damage to the vinyl exterior of the dwelling.
